TEAM-WORKS SPORTS & LEADERSHIP CAMP 2009!
This years Sports & Leadership Camp was an incredible success. Youth from three tribes - Tulalip, Nez Perce and Muckleshoot, joined celebrity and community coaches for several days of high-impact sports clinics and even more impactful leadership classes. Both youth and coaches learned the value of relationships throughout the camp and learned to work with purpose, passion and courage. Click to watch!(right click to download)
TEAM-WORKS Academy builds Strong Minds, Strong Bodies and Strong Character in underserved youth. Currently, the program is based in three American Indian and Alaskan Native communities (Tulalip, Muckleshoot and Anchorage) and offers after-school and Saturday academy during the school year and summer Sports & Leadership camp free-of-charge. We work to ensure our students develop the skills and knowledge they need to enjoy healthy, prosperous lives, within their communities and beyond.
